The "Stubai Tirol" ski school, based in the village of Fulpmes, teaches children from the age of three in the "Schlick 2000" ski area at the Froneben mid-station. Children's groups learn to ski in the "Ronny's Kinderland" park, which is equipped with everything needed for fun and exciting lessons. Three conveyor belts, wide and gentle slopes, arches, a wave area and a mini race track make learning fun and effective.
There are different groups according to age and skills. The Tiny Tot group is for the youngest skiers aged three to four years old. This is an easy two hour programme that can be taken either in the morning or afternoon. During the rest of the day, the children can spend their free time in the Ronny's Kinder Nest Kids' Club, which is located next to the children's course area.
Children aged four and over have four hours of tuition per day. Supervised lunches for young skiers are available for an additional fee.
The STUBAI TIROL Ski School strongly recommends that all children and young people wear a ski helmet (which can be hired from any ski hire shop or bought in any sports shop).
At the end of the course there's a children's competition on Fridays, where the young skiers demonstrate their skills in front of the audience. All skiers receive medals and certificates to commemorate their participation. The Stubai Tirol Ski School also offers snowboarding lessons.
