Psychologists say that a child needs to indulge in idleness from time to time. So sometimes, even on holiday, it is a good idea to skip the educational excursions and let your child run and jump around for fun. If you're planning a family trip to Vienna, make sure to add the Family Fun Park to your list of children's holiday destinations. Kids can enjoy the outdoor playground when the weather is nice, and the indoor facilities are great when the weather is cold.
The open area of the park is a bouncy castle area. No, no, not the ones that are just a figment of your imagination. Family Fun's inflatables are perfect for children's games. There are slides and climbing walls between the stone (and actually soft) walls of the largest castle trampoline. There's also a princess tower — although the prince has to climb a steep wall to get there. There's water splashing against the castle walls, but it's not for protection — it's for boating. There's no prohibition on sea battles, by the way — sturdy boats with soft bumpers are ready for them.

There are also outdoor tracks for children's quad bikes, which are powered by muscle power.
The indoor complex is divided into two parts. On the ground floor is Kids' World. It is a spacious playground for children from 1 to 4 years old. Active toddlers will try everything: a maze, slides, swings and roundabouts, 12 inflatable trampolines, dry pools with balls. Quieter imaginative types can settle down in one of the houses or under the shade of a magic tree. And little wunderkinds will spend a lot of time in the developmental play area with its bright, attractive decorations. Parents can relax with their children and even join in the fun by building houses with large building materials.
On the first floor of Family Fun there is a playground for children aged 4-12. There's a giant play maze with lots of obstacles and an air cannon shooting area, trampolines of various types, a high slide with a trampoline, a driving range, a pool for riding small boats, a dance floor, football and basketball pitches and board games. There are also two climbing walls. One is 1.5 metres high and is accessible to all children. The second climbing wall is 10 metres high and safety is ensured by a harness and the supervision of an instructor.
Lots of kids gather around the rodeo ride. Yes, not everyone wants to ride a kicking bull. But if that fails, the rider can bounce off the soft trampoline and try again to tame the fiery beast. Or maybe your child would like to try the scariest attraction in the park: the Witch Maze. Eerie dark corridors, ominous noises and deadly lights drawing incomprehensible signs — this place is only for the brave. And if your child has worked up an appetite after all this fun, there are pizzerias and self-service restaurants in the Family Fun area to satisfy their hunger.
