Park areas and attractions
Monki Park in Vienna is located in one of the city's shopping malls, Millennium City, and is a large space divided into several areas with different levels of difficulty. The main principle of Monki Park is a combination of outdoor activities and learning. Each zone offers different types of entertainment. Let's take a closer look at them:
- Rope Park. The area is great for visitors of all ages as there are different levels of difficulty. Children over 1.2 metres tall can climb alone. All safety regulations are followed: handrails are installed, safety equipment is handed out to visitors and all ropes and anchors are pre-tested for durability.
- A climbing wall. The site is divided into three sections with different levels of difficulty. The wall with the overhang is considered to be the most difficult — not everyone can overcome such an obstacle, so it is a real challenge even for experienced climbers. The climbing is conducted with a fully automated safety system so the risk is minimal. Despite the huge flow of visitors, the walls and the climbing ledges are clean, and the park strictly enforces hygiene regulations and regularly sanitises them.
- Skyscraper (Skytower). This is a completely new type of climbing in the form of an unusual spiral wall with individual moving elements. The design of the zone is also worth mentioning — the Skytower is painted in different colours and looks like a rainbow. There are four different ways to climb the track, so you can spend hours in this area before you know it.
- The main children's area. This is a large space where you can go down the slides and slide tunnels, jump on the giant trampoline, play in the children's mini-centre and use the many toys.
- An area for the little ones. There is a separate, safe area for young children aged 0-3 to play. There are various attractions such as merry-go-rounds, slides and mazes. This location is very convenient for parents — there is a relaxation area nearby where adults can have a quiet snack, chat or just relax while their little one is busy with their baby.
- Pit-Pat: This is an interesting place that combines games such as billiards and mini golf. It is fun for children and adults alike.
- Go-karting. Visitors to the park can go go-karting. However, this attraction is not included in the ticket price and must be paid for separately.
- Table tennis. A great, well-known pastime for children and adults alike.
- A playground for ball games. You can play football, basketball, field hockey and other fun games organised by the park staff on the multifunctional field.
Services
There is a café in the park where you can eat and relax after the action. The menu includes chicken nuggets with chips, schnitzel, spaghetti, Monki balls (vegetable and meat balls), vegetable dishes and desserts. Birthday children can even order a chocolate fountain, children's sparkling wine or a doughnut party instead of cake.
Monki Park also offers the opportunity to celebrate a birthday party or other event within its walls.
The park has the following function rooms:
- Large jungle party room. The walls are painted with everything from majestic elephants to pink flamingos and colourful parrots. For a birthday party, the Jungle Room can accommodate up to 25 guests.
- The Monkey Room. With funny monkeys making faces on every wall, this room will delight any young birthday boy or girl and add a fun atmosphere to the party.
- The Tiger Room (under 8s). Suitable for younger children. The room is equipped with small tables and chairs and can accommodate up to 14 people.
- The Sea Room. A nautical themed room with pictures of the underwater world and its inhabitants on the walls. There is plenty of room for up to 14 people.
The restaurant has a jungle pavilion (an enclosed outdoor area within the restaurant) where parents can watch their children play in the park.
The park is open all year round. The premises are heated in winter and air-conditioned in summer, so the temperature inside is always optimal.
Free Wi-Fi is available throughout Monki Park.
Benches, bag chairs, hammocks and other comfortable seating have been placed throughout the park for parents' convenience.

- Socks are required for entry (shoes are not allowed), but if you forget them, don't worry, you can buy them on site. Please note that only children's sizes are available.
- Another important point about socks: as the park is designed for active enjoyment, safety is of paramount importance. It is better to buy socks with anti-slip soles (rubber or silicone dots glued or printed on the sole to prevent slipping).
- When visiting Monki Park, make sure you wear clothes that are as comfortable as possible and don't restrict your movement.
- Some areas of the park allow children with pushchairs to enter, but the wheels must be wrapped in special paper protectors available from the ticket office.
- To save money, get a group of 10 or more children together for a visit (in which case two chaperones get in free). A healthy snack service is also available in the park - if you want your children to have a healthy lunch between activities, let them know in advance and Monki Park's chefs will prepare delicious and healthy meals for you.
- On weekends and public holidays it is advisable to arrive in the morning when Monki Park is less crowded.
- Parents can leave a child over the age of eight alone in the park, but they must sign an agreement stating that they take full responsibility for them.
- If you are planning a birthday or other celebration at Monki Park, please note that helium balloons are not allowed in the park for safety reasons.
- Adults can book the park for their event outside of Monki Park's opening hours. Exclusive hire is available from 7:15pm to 10:00pm and costs €490 for a group of up to 20 people with an additional charge of €14 for each additional guest.
- It is possible to buy a ticket to Monki Park as a gift. There is a 'print holiday ticket' option on the park's official website.
- If you don't feel like climbing the wall, or if you want to improve your climbing skills, you can get help from experienced instructors.
