Tiger’s World

Tiger’s World

Austria, Vienna

Tiger's World Vienna is a 2,000m2 playground with lots of exciting attractions, games and activities for children aged 6 and over. If your children can't sit still for a minute, are adventurous and always up for a new experience, they'll love Tiger's World. While the kids work off their inexhaustible energy reserves in the play area, parents can relax in the Food Court or in the separate Lounge Zone.

A special feature of Tiger's World is its emphasis on outdoor activities. The playground at Tiger's World is a great place to have fun, but also for your child's physical development. A visit to the playground can replace a full training session, with the difference that the sports activities are fun and exciting. There is, for example, a children's climbing wall where children can develop concentration, strength, patience and even logical thinking. The rope park also requires advanced dexterity and good balance.

You can correct poor posture, tone your back muscles, lose weight, build muscle mass and strengthen your cardiovascular system — all through active play at Tiger's World.

The non-stop jumping, climbing and running will also provide unforgettable fun and keep you in a good mood for the rest of the day.

Park areas

Tiger's World has several areas offering different types of activities. For example, there is a giant 40m2 trampoline for the most daring jumpers. In the Ninja Parcours area, with three parallel tracks (obstacle courses), visitors have to defy gravity and train their agility and coordination. There is also a seven-metre climbing wall with different levels of difficulty. There is also a digital bouldering wall nearby. Other activities in the play centre include a maze and a rope park.

In the climbing area, all children are fitted with harnesses that can be adjusted to suit their height and size. The centre's instructors help to put the harness on, give brief instructions on how to use it and are always on hand to ensure the safety of the young climbers.

Tiger's World takes safety very seriously. All rides and attractions are inspected by the Technical Inspection Agency and are TÜV certified. Regular maintenance is carried out to ensure that there are no breakdowns on the rides.

Services

You can buy tickets on the spot using a an ATM (Maestro) or at the ticket office (cash payment). Auhof Centre vouchers are also accepted. After paying the entrance fee, each visitor receives a wristband with an integrated chip, which serves as a pass for all play areas. All areas and attractions are included in the ticket price and there is no extra charge.

Everyone is welcome to book a birthday party or other celebration at the Play Centre. Party rooms can be hired for 2 hours. The standard room seats 7 guests and the large room seats 11. For smaller groups, party tables are available in the common dining room. The maximum group size is 25. Admission is free for the birthday child and two accompanying adults. Each guest receives 0.5 of any drink free of charge.

Although the Play Centre offers entertainment for children aged 6 and over, there are also games and areas for younger guests. There aren't many activities here, but there are basic attractions such as swings, slides and a balloon pool. This is a great solution for parents with children of different ages — while the older child is having fun on the trampoline or trying their hand at bouldering, the parent and child can stay close by in the children's play area. There is also a view of the other areas, so the older children are always within sight of the parents.

At Tiger's World, rooms are regularly cleaned, disinfected and ventilated. Sanitary treatment with antiseptics is maintained even after the requirement for antiseptics has been removed. In addition, there are numerous sanitary points throughout the facility where hands can be treated with a disinfectant solution. Masks and social distance requirements have been removed, leaving it up to visitors to decide whether or not to wear a mask. No vaccination certificate or COVID-19 test result is required to enter the play centre.

Tiger's World has facilities for people with disabilities to visit the play area and free entry for those accompanying a disabled person. However, not all types of attractions are accessible due to the nature of the equipment.

The Play Centre has a food court where the whole family can enjoy a hearty meal. The Tiger's Lounge, where the dining area is located, offers free Wi-Fi access and is acoustically separated from the ActionFun play areas so that visitors are not disturbed by noise. The menu includes chicken schnitzel, chips, chicken nuggets, a variety of pizzas and a range of soft drinks. Tiger's World has a partnership with McDonald's, so you will also find their standard menu here.

Tiger's World has its own cloakroom where you can leave your personal belongings. The lockers are opened and closed using a chip wristband given to each visitor. The management advise that they are not responsible for the security of personal and valuable items.

Tips for visiting

  • The play centre is best visited with school age children. Tiger's World is recommended for children aged 6 and over as there are few activities for pre-schoolers.
  • If you've brought a toddler, make sure you spend time with them in the special area so they don't get bored. Families with young children can watch their elders from a special area — a play corner — where babies can have fun at the same time.
  • Do not leave young children unattended. Guests under the age of 8 must be supervised at Tiger's World.
  • If you wish to leave a child over the age of 8 alone in the centre, please provide written permission. Children between the ages of 8 and 13 can visit the play centre unaccompanied, but parents must first complete a consent form (downloadable from the Tiger's World website).
  • Remember to bring socks or a change of shoes. For safety and cleanliness at Tiger's World, it is compulsory to wear non-slip socks/keds. Visitors can purchase non-slip socks for €3.9 when purchasing their ticket.
  • Tiger's World requests that bulky outerwear (e.g. winter jackets), rucksacks and large bags are left in the car wherever possible. Cloakroom lockers are small and not designed for bulky items.
  • You can park your car in the local car park. The Auhof Centre has a large underground car park.
  • If you're visiting the Children's Centre, wear comfortable sportswear that doesn't restrict movement, as the emphasis is on active entertainment.
  • Visitors are not allowed to bring in food or drink (except formula milk and other baby foods). If your child has a special diet, check with the management - ask before you come if you can bring your own lunch.
  • If you're having a child's birthday party or other celebration, you'll need to arrange the entertainment yourself — Tiger's World does not have entertainers.
  • Anyone can buy an invitation card to Tiger's World, which you can also download from the website and print out yourself.
