Water fun is, and always has been, at the top of the list for children of all ages. So if you're in Düsseldorf with the whole family, don't waste your time on boring, adult attractions.
Hurry up and go to the Düsselstrand swimming pool and water park. Covering an area of 1,300 square metres, there is a large relaxation zone for everyone, young and old. The water park resembles a modern seaside resort, with indoor and outdoor pools, sunbeds, parasols and other beach attractions.
The family water fun centre is completely safe and secure. Even if you have young children, you can rest assured that the staff will provide reliable protection against any kind of accident in the water. It is not only families with children who come to the Düsselstrand, but also professional athletes, for whom a special pool with 25 metres of lanes is available.
Hofgarten is located just 3 km from the water park. You can visit it too.
The modern Düsselstrand offers its guests several pools with different water temperatures: 36°C TO 38°C. The warmest water is, of course, in the separate children's pool. But the most adventure and excitement awaits older children in the main local water area, which is fed by a slow-moving river. You can take a leisurely float around the entire water park area.
While the waterfalls and 3 whirlpools are more for adults, young riders will love the geyser, the 100 metre black hole and the slide pipe. An unforgettable experience is guaranteed! For the little ones there is a separate area with shallow pools, a small water slide and various play structures.
As Düsselstrand Aquapark is a fun complex for the whole family, you'll also find a wellness centre, a two-storey log sauna and a traditional steam sauna. And if you fancy a bite to eat (and you probably will), the local Klif Café is always open for visitors young and old.
