Phantasia Land

Phantasia Land

Germany, Brühl

A sensible holiday with a child includes not only educational excursions, but also reckless fun. This is exactly what Phantasia Land, located in the small town of Brühl near Cologne and Düsseldorf, promises. The park is often compared to Disneyland, and it certainly lives up to the hype, with rides and shows that keep visitors coming back for more.

The park's vast area is divided into six theme zones — Berlin, Africa, Mexico, China, Fantasyland and Mysterious Earth. Thanks to the special design, the familiar attractions take on a new appeal. Who wouldn't want to rush through a roller coaster on the back of a dragon or drive over a bridge in a rumbling train, cross a raging river or wander around a mysterious castle?

Magic trees, carousels with horses, a journey through an ancient city, a mischievous water pistol shooting attraction — everyone will find something to their liking. And if your child feels like being an Indian in Mexico or a leopard in the African jungle, you can use Body Art, which will safely paint any image on your young adventurer's face.

For the little ones, there's a special place in Fantasyland called the Children's Village. All the attractions here are specially designed for pre-school children. This theme park also has an unusual maze playground and a playground for children who like to play with water. There are also many shows with music and special effects. There are also special perfomances for the little ones with amusing puppet characters. In the days before Christmas there is a special fairy tale show.

The alleys of Phantasia Land are also full of pleasant surprises. It's easy to meet a silly but friendly troll, jump rope with forest fairies or brush the feathers of a colourful phoenix. When you're ready for a break from all the excitement, take a boat ride on the lake.

There is so much to do here that one day might not be enough. You can even buy two-day tickets at the ticket office. Note that tickets are slightly cheaper in winter than in summer. Phantasia Land has several restaurants and cafes so you can relax from morning till night.
