The Sprengel Museum Hannover was founded in 1979, thanks to the generous donation of Bernhard and Margrit Sprengel. The couple's passion for art, notably German Expressionism and French Modernism laid the foundation for the museum's impressive collection. Over the years, the museum has continued to grow, with the addition of works by artists such as Kurt Schwitters and Niki de Saint Phalle.

Just 500 meters from the museum is the Maschpark, where we recommend going for a walk with the whole family.
