The Ski & Snowboard School Reit-im-Winkl-Winklmoos is one of the oldest schools in the region with over 80 years of experience in teaching skiing. As with the other renowned ski schools in Germany and Austria, special attention is given to teaching children. Depending on the level and age of the children, they can learn in the children's area at Wright im Winkle or near the Winklmoos lifts.
The Flizzi-Land children's area in the centre of Reit im Winkl is where children get their first taste of the sport. Games, fun and the right approach have been practised for years and ensure that children don't want to go back to their parents after the first lesson. What is a playground? It is a large area with colourful figures, a 21 metre long mat and a 9 metre long mat for the youngest students, as well as a special rope lift. At lunchtime, the children are supervised by school staff.
For children aged 3-4 there is a half-day light course, which prepares a child for more challenging classes in a playful way. The school offers two types of course, one without equipment and one with equipment included into the price. The five-day course includes a final competition and all participants are rewarded with souvenirs and medals at no extra cost.
