When planning a family vacation in Madrid, you must allocate time for excursions and entertainment. For example, you can hide from the heat in a shady forest near Navacerrada. There is a rope park De Pino a Pino. Its name translates as "From pine to pine", and everything would be simple if you did not have to move through the air. But no particular difficulties are expected, at least on the first route, for children from 5 years old.
The park has 7 courses with 4 levels of difficulty. The children's course is green. It rises to a height of 1 meter above the ground. An experienced "Tarzan" will pass it in 15 minutes, and beginners may need parental support (at least moral). Various obstacles await children: hanging platforms, crossings on a mesh bridge, crossing on a board, bungee and much more. As with all tracks, safety is provided by certified belay systems.
Two green routes are for children over 9 years old and adults who have never been to rope parks. The first route runs at a height of 1-3 meters, the second at 2-6 meters. Special physical training is unnecessary here; you must decide and step from stable support onto a swinging board.
Two blue courses are available for children over 11 years old. These are difficult routes passing at a height of 10 meters from the ground. The biggest test and at the same time the reward is the 160 meters bungee flight. But this is not the limit of complexity. Rope park in Madrid has a red and purple routes, to pass them you will need serious physical training. This is where you have to literally walk through the air at a height of 15 meters above the ground and get by with minimal support! These routes are available for children over 14 years old.
Those who want to try a difficult route may need extra warm clothing on cooler days. In case of hot weather, we recommend that you have drinking water with you. It is also advisable to bring some snacks with you. After such a break, children will have renewed energy for sightseeing in Madrid.
