Real Madrid Museum

Real Madrid Museum

Spain, Madrid

Football fans have a clear goal of what to see in Madrid. Each of them dreams of seeing the museum of the football club "Real Madrid" and the official stadium of this team. Such a tour will be handy for young athletes: the story of someone else's success can become a strong motivation for their achievements.

If you have not heard about the success of this football club, then it is enough to know that FIFA named it the best club of the 20th century. But the tour does not begin with numerous cups for victories in the championships but from the Santiago Bernabeu stadium. Here, the team's hard training takes place, which precedes the sporting triumph.

You can feel the tension of the players sitting on the bench, the excitement of the coach in the technical area and imagine the joy of merengues — Real Madrid fans — when their favourite team scores a goal. What a commotion then in a stadium with a capacity of 81,000 people! You will also see the VIP area, the press centre and the changing room, which is reserved for the rival team.

And then you will be taken to the Real Madrid Museum. Here, dozens of cups shine with polished sides, the first of which the team received back in 1905. On interactive panels, you will find information about the team's famous players, achievements, and records. The walls are decorated with large photographs of football stars, and the museum showcases display Real Madrid uniforms and boots (if you were not interested in football before the tour, ask the fans why some of the boots are covered in gold paint). Also, in the museum, you can review the most intense moments of the matches and hear the most expressive remarks of the commentators.

The museum exposition is called “The best club in history”, and only fans of FC Barcelona will argue with this. They can recommend a tour of the Camp Nou stadium in the capital of Catalonia.

The museum also has a hall dedicated to the history of the Real Madrid basketball club. The tour of the Santiago Bernabéu, including the museum, takes approximately 1.5 hours. And after that, the most ardent fans will be able to buy a T-shirt or other merchandise with the symbols of Real Madrid FC in the gift shop.
