Palma, the capital and largest settlement of the Balearic Islands, is an ancient city with many new buildings. You can watch for a long time how the old is overgrown with new and how the eternal sea splashes near the shore, or you can see it in an hour and a half. Take a double-decker tourist bus to Palma de Mallorca and ride on it around the main attractions.
It is incredibly convenient if you are travelling in Mallorca with a child. Buses operate on the Hop On - Hop Off system; you can get off at any stop and see the sights that interest you and then take the next bus. At the same time, you can view places that are not yet interesting to the child from the window or the open terrace of the second deck. An audio guide (available in several languages) will provide minimal information about the important sites of Palma.
The sightseeing buses in Palma de Mallorca make 18 stops en route, covering the whole route in 80 minutes. The beautiful streets and seaport can be explored without stopping. You might want to stop by the Cathedral and Almudaina Palace. And you'll undoubtedly love the Spanish Village and Belver Castle.
We recommend checking their opening times before taking the tour bus unless you want to limit your sightseeing to seeing them from afar. Note that you can only get up close to Belver on this bus; it takes about 25 minutes to walk uphill from the public transport stop.
