Whether or not children have read the book about Captain Nemo's wanderings, a submarine dive will be a real adventure. If you're holidaying with your child in Mallorca, you can set sail on the touring submarine Nemo. It's waiting for adventurous kids and adults off the coast of Isla del Sech.
However, preparations for the voyage start in Magaluf. There you will be treated to a short film on how submarines are built. Then you'll get the latest weather report from the weather satellite. If the forecast is good (and always is), the boat will take you to Isla del Sech. So there's also a 20-minute boat ride before your dive.
The Nemo submarine on Mallorca plunges for 45 minutes through the Mediterranean, reaching depths of up to 20 metres. Underwater life can be watched through the large portholes. Although the sea is less picturesque than Egypt's, the divers liven up the tour. They bait the fish so that various sea creatures are bound to come up to the submarine. You can also see a sunken old ship on the Nemo submarine tour.
Magaluf is home to the Katmandu amusement park and hosts the Adventures of Pirates show.
