Once in Seville, you and your curious little traveller will want to explore this wonderful Spanish city. And rightly so, as there's always something to see in Seville. Dedicate your vacation in Spain to cultural development with your child. Well, or at least a small part of your holiday. Especially since there are plenty of exciting excursions.
The easiest and least tiresome option is to take a sightseeing bus. There is one in Seville. A sightseeing tour can have different programs. A city bus tour lets you see Seville's big and small attractions, saving you a lot of time. This tour is incredibly convenient for families with small children who, for the time being, can only travel by hand.
The Seville Tourist Bus allows you to explore the city centre from the comfort of your seat. You can see the sights from the closed ground floor of the bus or the open observation deck located on the 2nd floor of the vehicle. All guests of Seville should know that two tourist buses run around the city — green and red. According to the stories of the tourists themselves, they practically do not differ from each other.
The green sightseeing bus in Seville will take you along one of 3 routes:
- Romanic Seville (evening time of the day);
- Seville monumental (daytime);
- Seville at night (night time).
All three routes overlap at many points, hence the main difference in travel times. The difference between the red and green buses also lies in the Trian walk included in the latter's itinerary.
Taking either the green or the red bus tour, you can show your child the splendid Maria Luisa Park and the world-famous Torre del Oro, as well as pass the Plaza de España, Plaza de America, Plaza de Armas and many other equally important landmarks.
The sightseeing buses leave every half hour on average. The tour duration is 1-1.5 hours. If your little one gets tired of looking around, you can get off at any time at one of the stops to sit on a bench or have a bite to eat at a local cafe.
