Aboveboard Skateshop Summer Camp

Aboveboard Skateshop Summer Camp

United States, Greensboro

Overview

Welcome to a world where summer leaps off the sidewalks and whirls across skate parks. Where every ounce of youthful energy has an outlet, and the soundtrack of laughter blends perfectly with the echo of BMX, scooter, or skateboard wheels. This world, a realm of joy, learning, and camaraderie, is indeed Above Board Summer Camp. Held amid the sun-dappled landscape of Greensboro, Above Board camp is a bustling hive of activity every Monday through Friday from June to August. Kids aged between 7 and 17 are encouraged to blend creativity with adventure by revving up their skateboards, BMX bikes, inline or quad skates, or scooters. The perfect recipe to spice up a typical summer. Every camper's day kick-starts at 9 AM with a round of stretches to get those muscles ready.

Post warm-up, the skate instructing sessions are an adrenaline rush where each participant sets goals and pushes ahead to achieve them. Sparking creativity are the structured activities like games, crafts, contests, and the splashing hullabaloo of Water Wednesday. Throughout the day, the watchful eyes of the camp director, Leanna Kirch, and the expert instructors, Jordan, Drake, Jon, and Steve, ensure every participant is safe, engaged, and having the time of their life. As the clock strikes 5 PM, campers head home, their hearts brimming with the day's adventures and eagerly waiting for the next dawn. At Above Board, every summer is a spectacle of fun, friendships, and unforgettable memories!
