Overview
For girls passionate about volleyball, the NBC Volleyball Camp at Alaska Pacific University in Anchorage offers a summer experience designed to elevate skills and build confidence. This overnight camp caters to athletes aged 11-18, providing comprehensive training in hitting, serving, blocking, and more. With expert coaches who emphasize leadership and teamwork, participants will leave the camp not only as better players but also with a stronger sense of self-discipline and mental toughness.
The camp features two main programs: the Complete Player Volleyball Camp (June 10-14, 2024, and June 17-21, 2024) for all-around skill development and the Volleyball Intensive Camp for experienced players seeking advanced, fast-paced training. Each day includes 6-8 hours of volleyball drills, live-action games, and tournaments to apply newly learned techniques. Leadership training is woven into the curriculum, helping campers grow both on and off the court.
Campers can choose between overnight or extended-day options. Overnight participants stay in dorms on APU’s picturesque campus, surrounded by the Chugach Mountains. Meals are provided at the campus cafeteria, offering a variety of nutritious options to fuel busy days. Extended-day campers join for full-day sessions but return home each evening.
The camp also hosts special events like "Intensity Night," where athletes push their limits in a supportive and high-energy environment. With a focus on Christian values and personal growth, NBC Volleyball Camps create an atmosphere that inspires both athletic excellence and character development.
