Carmel Clay Parks & Recreation Summer Camps

Carmel Clay Parks & Recreation Summer Camps

United States, Carmel

Overview

Sitting at the crossroads of creativity and science, Auto Aerodynamics camp, a part of the Carmel Clay Parks & Recreation (CCPR) initiative, is a dream come true for many young minds. Founded in 1991, CCPR is the fruit of a partnership between the City of Carmel and Clay Township in Indiana. It was born out of a desire to foster a love for nature and fitness, while also developing and managing existing spaces and resources. The camp breathes life into the dual worlds of Arts and Crafts and Science. It's a place where children can build their dreams, literally and figuratively. They get to explore the fascinating universe of aerodynamics intertwined with the charming world of arts and crafts. It's not just about making things that look good; it's about understanding the science behind why they fly. Managing over 500 acres of parkland and numerous recreational facilities, CCPR offers more than 5,000 annual classes and programs for all age groups. The Auto Aerodynamics camp is just one of the many ways CCPR contributes to the community’s quality of life. It provides a delightful escape for children where they can learn, have fun, and grow. Imagine a summer filled with laughter and learning, where children leave a bit more curious about the world around them. That's what this camp offers - a place where learning and fun meet. It's truly a journey of exploration that keeps the spirit of childhood alive and wings of imagination soaring.
