Overview
Sail into a summer of adventure with Community Sailing of Colorado (CSC). Established in 1995, this nonprofit organization has been making waves in the local community with its commitment to promoting and educating kids about the joys and skills of sailing. The brainchild of Steven Frank, CSC was born from a vision to create an organized program that could harness the potential of Denver's youthful population, using sailing as a vehicle for growth and learning. CSC's Youth Summer Sailing Program and Camp, held at the serene Cherry Creek Marina & Yacht Club, caters to boys and girls aged 5 to 17. From weeklong Learn To Sail Camps to Advanced Camps, there’s a sailing journey for every skill level. But the adventure doesn’t stop there. CSC also offers Adult Classes and a Summer Drop-In Sailing Program, providing opportunities for kids to continue sailing beyond their initial training. Running from June through August, Monday to Friday, CSC's summer camps are a perfect blend of fun and learning, set against the beautiful backdrop of the Cherry Creek Reservoir in Greenwood Village, Colorado. So, whether your child is a budding sailor or a seasoned seafarer, CSC offers a transformative experience that will leave lasting memories. Each day at camp is a voyage of discovery, where kids learn not just to navigate the waters, but also the currents of life.
