United States, Framingham

Overview

Welcome to a world where creativity knows no bounds, the Danforth Museum: Summer Arts for Teens. This is the place where young Picassos and budding Ansel Adamses find their artistic voices, guided by the skilled hands and watchful eyes of professional artists and college instructors. Imagine a day immersed in the expressive world of multi-arts, where your teen can dabble in everything from ceramics to advanced comics and illustration. Picture your child exploring portrait and figure studies, or delving into the vibrant world of drawing and painting. And it doesn't stop there. For those with a flair for style, fashion design and illustration classes are on offer, providing a fantastic platform to ignite their sartorial imagination. At Danforth, every high school student is seen as a potential master in the making. From 9th to 12th graders, every teen is given the opportunity to flex their artistic muscles, developing high-level skills with various materials and learning to communicate ideas through their artwork. The camp provides a flexible schedule with half-day classes, catering to the varied interests of their students. Every class extends for one week, except for the Portfolio Review. This special session gives students three different time slots during an hour period to showcase their work, receive constructive feedback, and hone their artistic prowess. Whether your child is a potential fashion guru or an aspiring artist, Danforth Museum: Summer Arts for Teens is the place where creative dreams are turned into beautiful realities.
