Digital Media Media Center Summer Camps

United States, Palo Alto

Overview

Get ready for an electrifying summer at Digiquest Digital Media Workshops, where your child's creativity and technology unite in perfect harmony. Here, the kids don't just consume media, they create it. From the initial brainstorm to the final cut, your little Spielberg will be immersed in the thrilling world of film and television production. Aspiring filmmakers will revel in the chance to operate professional-grade equipment within the cutting-edge studio. With the guidance of seasoned mentors, children will learn how to expertly edit footage using Apple's Final Cut Pro, fostering their storytelling abilities. Those with a knack for animation can dive into the Advanced Animation workshop, a fun-filled playground of special effects that promises to spark their imagination. But the excitement doesn't stop there. The camp culminates in a public screening and awards ceremony, the cherry atop a fulfilling summer experience. Your child's creations might even get a moment in the spotlight, featured on Cable Channel 28 during the Youth Video Festival. The workshops run Monday to Friday, 9 am to 4 pm, and no prior video experience is required. So whether your child is a budding Scorsese or a tech-savvy whiz kid, Digiquest provides an unforgettable journey through the captivating landscape of digital media.
