Gwynn Valley Camp

Gwynn Valley Camp

United States, Brevard

Overview

At Gwynn Valley Camp, we create a nurturing and safe environment where children can explore the joys of childhood away from the distractions of modern life. Located on 320 acres of beautiful land in the Blue Ridge Mountains, with an additional 75 acres along the French Broad River, the camp offers a wide variety of activities including sports, horseback riding, and wilderness adventures. From archery and soccer to learning about sustainable farming practices, campers are encouraged to develop at their own pace with minimal competition and maximum creativity. Our program fosters a sense of community and personal growth, allowing campers to build confidence, responsibility, and lifelong friendships. Whether they’re swimming in the lake, learning to milk a cow at the farm, or exploring the natural world around them, every child will find something that sparks their interest. At Gwynn Valley, we believe in the simple joys of childhood—playing outside, connecting with nature, and learning new skills in a supportive environment. Our dedicated staff ensures that campers are always supervised and guided through their activities. With a focus on non-competitive fun and personal expression, every camper has the chance to shine. For families looking for a camp that emphasizes character-building and outdoor adventure in a beautiful setting, Gwynn Valley Camp is an ideal choice.
