Indiana University MEET Kelley

Indiana University MEET Kelley

United States, Bloomington

Overview

As the sun rises over the sprawling campus of Indiana University, a confluence of young minds awaken, ready to delve into the exciting realm of business, mentoring, and career exploration. Welcome to MEET Kelley, a beacon of illumination for high school students from historically underrepresented groups. This summer camp is far from your typical escape into the wilderness. Instead, it acts as a stepping stone, a gateway to the world of business. MEET Kelley caters to a diverse group of students who identify as African American, Latino/Hispanic, American Indian/Native American, Native Hawaiian/Pacific Islander, or multiracial. Here, campers receive more than just a glimpse into college life at Kelley; they get to live it, breathe it, and most importantly, understand it. This camp is not just about textbooks and classrooms, but it's about experiencing the thrill of a professional business case competition. It's about understanding the limitless opportunities that await in the field of business. It's about feeling the pulse of the bustling Kelley School of Business and realizing that they too can be a part of this dynamic world. In the end, when the sun sets over the Indiana University campus, the campers of MEET Kelley return home, not just with knowledge and experience, but with a newfound confidence. A confidence that they can thrive in the world of business, that they can make a difference, and that they belong. After all, isn't that what we all want for our children? To know that they can be whatever they want to be, and that there is a place for them in this ever-expanding universe.
