For families looking to combine quality time with skill-building on the golf course, the Nike Parent/Child Golf Camp at the University of Arizona is an exceptional choice. Set against the stunning backdrop of La Paloma Country Club and Ventana Canyon Golf & Racquet Club in Tucson, this two-day experience is designed to strengthen both your golf game and your bond with your child. This camp offers a rare opportunity to learn directly from Division I coaches, including University of Arizona Head Men’s Coach Jim Anderson and Assistant Coach James Vargas. With their guidance, participants will practice at world-class facilities and enjoy daily course play on some of Southern Arizona’s most scenic greens. The program incorporates training techniques used by the Wildcat men’s golf team, blending rigorous instruction with engaging, fun activities. Open to children aged 9 and up and their parents, this coed camp caters to all skill levels. From beginners learning the basics to seasoned players refining their technique, everyone is welcome. Campers and parents are grouped together throughout the program, ensuring shared learning experiences. Each participant receives a Nike amenity package, including a hat, drawstring bag, and SRIXON golf balls. Lunch is provided on both days, but participants should bring their own golf clubs, gloves, balls, tees, and sunscreen. While transportation isn’t included, out-of-town families are encouraged to stay locally in Tucson. This camp is more than just a golf clinic—it’s a chance to create lasting memories while improving your game in a supportive and inspiring environment. Spots fill quickly, so early registration is highly recommended!
