The Nike Swim Spring Clinic at UNC Asheville is a fantastic opportunity for young swimmers to refine their breaststroke and butterfly techniques, as well as enhance their turns. Held at the UNC Asheville swimming pool, this clinic is designed to elevate participants' skills through focused drills and dry-land conditioning. Clinic Highlights Technique Refinement: The clinic emphasizes breaststroke and butterfly refinement, along with turn improvement. Participants will benefit from video instruction and analysis in a classroom setting, providing a comprehensive approach to stroke enhancement. Expert Coaching: Led by Ian Quinn, the Associate Head Coach at UNC Asheville, the clinic offers personalized instruction with a low camper-to-staff ratio, ensuring each swimmer receives the attention needed to improve their skills. Inclusive Environment: Open to swimmers aged 8-17 of all genders, the clinic welcomes those with competitive swimming experience. It's ideal for athletes who have participated in U.S.S. age group events, national qualifiers, high school teams, or summer leagues. Clinic Details Schedule: sessions on Saturday from 11 AM to 5 PM and Sunday from 9 AM to 11 AM. Registration and Demand: With only one session available, early registration is encouraged as spots are expected to fill quickly. What’s Included: Each camper receives a Nike Camp T-shirt and swim cap, along with eligibility for merit-based prizes. Participants are advised to bring their own lunch as meals are not provided. Essential items include a swimsuit, swim cap, goggles, towel, sunscreen, sandals, and dry-land gear like running shoes and athletic wear.
