Northwest FCA Sports Camp

Northwest FCA Sports Camp

United States, Nampa

Overview

Discover the exciting fusion of sports and spirituality at the Northwest FCA Sports Camp. This isn't your average summer getaway. Here, the focus is on the game of golf, but it goes much further than the fairways. The mission? To empower young athletes and their coaches with the teachings of Jesus Christ, infusing their sport and personal relationships with a deeper sense of purpose. The history of the camp is as rich as a hole-in-one. It's seen the guidance of Capt. Bill Lewis, the first Director of the FCA Golf Ministry, and the influential LPGA Fellowship group. Trailblazers like Murle Breer, Beth Stone, and Joyce Benson have left their mark here, serving as inspiring torchbearers. The inaugural FCA Junior Golf Camp kicked off at the prestigious Pine Needles Lodge & Country Club, with "Bullet" & Peggy Kirk Bell, Tour Pro Larry Nelson, and Coach Conrad Rehling headlining the program. By 1980, the first FCA "Breakfast with the Pros" took place, solidifying the camp's commitment to intertwining golf and faith. The Northwest FCA Sports Camp is more than a summer experience. It's a journey of self-discovery, where kids learn to navigate the greens of golf and the paths of life with a little divine inspiration. Their swing might just improve, but their perspective on life? That's bound to change in ways they never imagined. So, why not let your child tee off into a summer they'll never forget?
