Accommodation
Overnight campers at O-D Camp stay in the residence halls of Whittier College. The dormitories feature shared rooms with modern amenities, air conditioning, and easy access to bathrooms and common lounges. Counselors and staff reside in the same buildings to ensure around-the-clock supervision and support. Day and extended-day campers use the same campus facilities during the day but return home each evening.
Meals
All meals are served in the Whittier College dining hall, offering a variety of nutritious, athlete-friendly options. Breakfast, lunch, and dinner are included for overnight campers, while day campers receive lunch and snacks. The menu accommodates dietary needs and ensures that every athlete stays fueled for intense training sessions. Hydration stations are available throughout the day to keep players refreshed.
Medicine
A certified athletic trainer is on-site throughout the camp to handle medical concerns, minor injuries, and first aid. All staff are trained in CPR and emergency response. Parents must provide up-to-date medical forms and disclose any allergies or conditions before camp begins. Prescription medications are stored securely and administered under supervision according to parental instructions.
Security
The Whittier College campus provides a secure environment with controlled dorm access and professional campus safety patrols. Campers are supervised at all times—during practices, meals, and rest periods. Attendance is taken at every session, and curfews are strictly enforced for overnight participants. Safety protocols are reviewed daily to maintain a structured and worry-free experience.
Camp Traditions
O-D Camp celebrates teamwork, discipline, and sportsmanship through daily motivational meetings, team-building exercises, and skill competitions. Campers participate in an end-of-camp awards ceremony recognizing outstanding performance, improvement, and leadership. Group photos, scrimmages, and friendly challenges help create camaraderie among athletes. These traditions make the camp experience both competitive and memorable.
