Summer Theatre Camp

Summer Theatre Camp

United States, Fort Lauderdale

Overview

Fancy a dash of drama and a sprinkle of song this summer? The Summer Fun Theatre Camp is a stage set for a world of creativity and fun. This camp rolls out not one but two sessions at three distinct locations - the Broward Center in Fort Lauderdale, Aventura Arts & Cultural Center in Aventura, and the Rose & Alfred Miniaci Performing Arts Center at Nova Southeastern University in Davie. Reconnect with familiar faces or build bonds with new ones. The camp's heart is in nurturing relationships while children explore their talents. Guided by seasoned performing arts teachers, this camp is a playground for imagination, where the humdrum of daily life transforms into a vibrant theater production on the Amaturo stage. The curtain rises on a world where singing, dancing, and acting are the languages of expression. The camp is an opportunity to delve into these art forms, rehearsing for a theatrical production that culminates in a final performance on the prestigious Broward Center stage. Children with various needs, including ADHD, Asthma, Diabetes, Eating disorders, Hearing/speech impairment, Physical disabilities, and Visual impairment, are welcomed with open arms into this creative fold. This camp is a testament to the belief that the stage of life and art accepts us as we are, making it a diverse and inclusive space where children can truly shine. So, cue lights, and let the magic of the Summer Fun Theatre Camp begin!
