Overview
Turnagain Training Kid’s Triathlon Camps offer an adventurous and energetic summer experience for kids aged 6 to 14. This camp is perfect for young athletes who love biking, running, and swimming—or are curious to try their hand at triathlons. Held across two Anchorage locations, the program blends skill-building, fitness, and plenty of fun into one unforgettable week.
Each day is packed with engaging activities. Kids will work on biking techniques like shifting gears and cornering, enjoy short runs disguised as scavenger hunts, and splash into swimming lessons or pool games. For those new to swimming, life jackets and alternative activities are available, ensuring everyone feels included. Transition practice—a key part of triathlon racing—is also a major focus, helping kids gain confidence in switching between sports.
The camp’s schedule is designed to keep young participants active yet balanced. There’s time for snacks and chats about triathlon tips, from packing for a race to dreaming big about the Olympics. Fridays bring extra excitement with a mini duathlon race and a celebratory ice cream treat.
Safety and fun go hand-in-hand here. With a low coach-to-camper ratio (1:7), every child gets personalized attention from passionate triathletes. Kids need their own bike (preferably with gears), helmet, water bottle, and snacks—but don’t worry if gear is an issue; the camp can help.
From building athletic skills to making new friends, Turnagain Training Kid’s Triathlon Camps create a summer full of adventure and accomplishment.
