Holiday Inn Berlin Alexanderplatz is located in the central district of eastern Berlin, opposite Humboldthain Park. The hotel is 18 km from Berlin Brandenburg Airport.
Gesundbrunnen station is 200 metres from the hotel and is an underground and urban railway station. Therefore, the fastest, easiest and cheapest way to get to the Holiday Inn Berlin Mitte from any airport is by underground.
The S-Bahn (line RB19 towards Gesundbrunnen) from Berlin's main railway station is an easy, non-stop connection to the hotel.

Like most hotels in Berlin, the Holiday Inn Berlin Alexanderplatz has a breakfast buffet, which is served in the Movie Restaurant on the ground floor and paid separately. The main advantage of the breakfast buffet is that children up to the age of 12 eat for free. In addition, the Movie chefs offer a very wide selection of breakfast dishes, including hot dishes, fish, special diets and milk and cocoa, as well as juices and standard hot drinks. For families with young children, the restaurant offers high chairs and bibs for feeding.
From 11.30am, the restaurant switches to a la carte service, with children's menu items free when an adult orders from the main menu. In the evenings, The Movie regularly organises themed buffet dinners, the schedule of which can be found on the hotel's website.
Breakfast at the hotel is not included in the room rate and is quite expensive, so if you don't have children under the age of 12, it's worth taking a closer look at what's available nearby. The nearest restaurant specialising in Irish cuisine is just across the road from the hotel. There is also a large shopping centre with good restaurants just before the metro station.
If you just want afternoon tea in your room, cross the road from the tube station and walk half a block along Badstrasse. There is a Lidl supermarket with the usual excellent selection.
