Food and Drink
There are several restaurants and bars in the building that open early in the morning and close at midnight. The hotel offers various meal packages, including an early breakfast (hot drink and croissant) as part of the 'Park, Sleep and Fly' package for transient travellers. However, the buffet breakfast served from 6.30am in the Classico restaurant must be paid for separately.
The morning menu is varied but standard for German hotels — a selection of fresh fruit and vegetables, cereals, jams, a few egg dishes, meat and cheese platters, juices and hot drinks. Bottaccio and Rheinische Stov serve Mediterranean and German cuisine from lunch onwards. Another good thing about Rheinische Stov is that it stays open until midnight. So even late-night revellers can enjoy a late night meal.
Those arriving in Düsseldorf after midnight have nothing better to do than grab a cup of coffee at Morley's Bar. There is also the Gallery Bar for light snacks and drinks and SushiSho for traditional Japanese cuisine.
If the prices at the Maritim Hotel are too high, there are other options within the airport itself. There are also several supermarkets close to the hotel that sell both ready-to-eat and prepared meals. The kitchenettes in the suites can be used to turn these purchases into a full lunch or dinner.
