The Hilton Munich is a busy hotel, so don't expect much peace and quiet outside your room. Directions
The Hilton Munich City is a 10-minute walk from the city centre,next to the S-Bahn station. The hotel is 38.5 km from the Franz Josef Strauss International Airport.
The quickest and most convenient way to get to the hotel from the airport is to take the S-Bahn S8 (access to the station is between Terminals 1 and 2). Once at Rosenheimer Platz station, follow the Gasteig sign to the lift which will take guests directly to reception.
Munich Central Station is also served by a number of high speed train lines, with the S4 (from Munich Central Station to Rosenheimer Platz) being the easiest for freight travellers.
Alternatively, you can take a taxi or book a car when you make your reservation. However, this is not the cheapest option and is only suitable if public transport is a major inconvenience.

Food and Drink
The Hilton Munich City offers its guests a breakfast buffet, which can be paid for separately or included in the room rate at the time of booking. The morning menu offers something for both adults and children — egg dishes, various cheeses and authentic Bavarian sausages, hot dishes, vegetables, fruit and various pastries, juices and teas.
On Friday evenings there is a seafood buffet on the ground floor of the Zum Gasteig restaurant, where breakfast is served daily from 6am to 6pm for hotel guests. On Sundays there is live music and cooking classes.
