The nearest ski lift is a 10-minute walk away, but as the hotel is well served by public transport, it is also easy to get there by bus.

For larger groups, the separate guesthouses located 150-250 metres from the main Hotel Garni Schellenberg building are ideal. The hotel has friendly staff and the grounds are clean and well maintained.
A quality buffet breakfast is included in the price of accommodation and is served in a special room with a terrace on the ground floor. Tthe hotel is rightly proud of its spa area, which includes a large heated indoor pool, three types of sauna and a massage room.
There are no activities for younger children at the hotel other than board games. As a great value for money option, this hotel can certainly be recommended to families with children looking to spend a week or two on the slopes in Oberstdorf.
