If you want to learn to snowboard or introduce your child to this new sport while skiing in the Ski Circus, then all roads lead to the Board.at snowboard school, founded in 1989, which offers only the most professional instructors. The school has offices in all three major Ski Circus resorts: Saalbach, Hinterglemm and Leogang.
All are based on the Board.at rentals and shops, so you can find all the equipment you need in one place. Students are divided into groups according to their skills: "Basic", "Perfection", "Freestyle", "Freeride", "Carving". Groups consist of three to a maximum of eight people. Lessons take place in specially equipped areas and on the resort's slopes.
Basic directions according to skills and level:
YOUNG BOARDER ZONE 1
Take your first steps on a snowboard and master your first turns. Safe snowboarding on easy slopes is the main aim of the course!
YOUNG BOARDER ZONE 2
The instructors will refine your turns and introduce you to slopestyle tricks such as nosewheelie and your first jumps on small kickers.
YOUNG BOARDER ZONE 3
Once you've mastered your turns, you'll be able to tackle steep and bumpy slopes and even ride powder safely. Get your first experience in the fun park and perform simple freestyle tricks.
A separate four-hour programme is offered for children aged 7-14, which guarantees effective results after just a few lessons. At lunchtime, the school organises a guided lunch for an additional fee.
