The small, family-run farm is situated near the Alm in the breathtaking Almtal Valley, providing a serene and picturesque setting for visitors to experience the charm of alpacas. There are two other animal parks within 30 kilometres - Cumberland Wildlife Park Grunau and Wels Zoo

The alpaca herd at Almtal Alpakas consists of huacaya and suri breeds, each with distinct characteristics. Huacayas are known for their dense, fluffy fleece, while saris have a silky, dreadlock-like fiber.
