At the middle station of the Sonnenbahn cable car in Serfaus, children and their parents are greeted by Berta the cow, the owner of Berta's Kinderland, a large winter amusement park. Berta's Kinderland is one of the largest and most famous children's playgrounds in the Alps. The spacious complex offers many specially designed learning aids such as lifts, carousels, training lifts and other useful learning tools.
Serfaus has many pleasant surprises in store for children in the park: young skiers have a great opportunity to discover winter sports in a playful way, attend ski school or simply have a great time in the play and entertainment areas. Children of all ages will find ideal conditions for playing and skiing.
There is a children's restaurant and a family restaurant in the park, serving food adapted to young skiers. In the family restaurant, parents can follow their children's progress online via the park's own television, Bertas Ski-TV. Every day there is a theme day at the park. For example, one day the kids will be entertained by Cowboy Joe, another day all the entertainment will be related to Indians. And what about competitions? At the end of the week, everyone can take part in a ski race and receive certificates and medals.
For children between the ages of 2 and 3, there is a separate entertainment programme, Berta's Snow Adventure, in which all participants take part in a search for the Snow Fairy's golden hair, a snowman party or a fairytale journey to meet Berta.
