The Murmliwasser Summer Park in Serfaus consists of several activity zones designed to provide a complete and varied holiday for the whole family. Along the river Lausbach, which flows close to the Komperdell station, 15 play and adventure stations have been built. Water and sand games, rafting, bridges, paths, special water attractions, playgrounds with swings and slides — all this is available to young holidaymakers and their parents throughout the day.
Both adults and children will enjoy a visit to the open-air zoo where marmots live. Here you can see them play, eat and hear them whistle. One of the most popular attractions for children is the "Murmli Burrow" — a 200-metre-long underground construction with many paths and burrows, entrances and exits.
A real underground maze where it's fun to run around and play hide and seek! Older children can try their luck at the panning station in a specially equipped area of the river canal. If they're lucky, they might even find a little 'gold' nugget to take home as a souvenir.
Skill, attention and strength are put to the test at the Murmli Rodeo, an attraction consisting of a series of physical challenges of varying difficulty. In addition to the water fun, the Murmli Kiosk sells hot and cold drinks, snacks and ice cream. A variety of souvenirs bearing the image of Murmli, the resort's emblematic groundhog, are also on sale.
This summer park offers all children and their parents the opportunity to take an exciting trip on the Murmli Trail. This non-strenuous hike along paths full of surprises is a great experience for people of all ages. The very first steps along the fairytale trail are accompanied by unusual sounds. Along the way you will meet a talking fountain that tells the story of a little marmot and his adventures in the forest, a talking woodsman. But before the woodsman can speak, you have to prove your dexterity by hitting him in the mouth with a stone.
The next stop is for a quick photo session at a colourful stand featuring the trail's fairytale characters. The trail winds past a sleeping teddy bear and a talking and singing owl. The most interesting part comes at the end of the trail. A visit to the multi-roomed cave where Murmli lives will be just as exciting as all the previous stops. It's worth noting that the trail is easily accessible with prams.
