The resort of Schladming-Dachstein is not only renowned for its excellent skiing, but also for its variety of outdoor activities during the warmer months. In addition to traditional cycling and hiking trails, Ramsau am Dachstein also offers a number of unusual trails — aerial trails.
The Rittisberg Rope Park blends harmoniously into the nature park, and even at a glance it is difficult to see the artificially created obstacles woven between the tall pines. It is important to note that not a single tree was damaged during the construction of the park.
Rittisberg is very popular with both adults and children. From 2 to 15 metres above the ground, climbers must negotiate a variety of obstacles. Whether climbers move from tree to tree, swing, balance or just use their hands is decided at each station. The course has different levels of difficulty. All the challenges along the way are designed to develop physical strength and endurance, dexterity and balance.
Children under the age of 15 must be accompanied by an adult. Children over 140cm tall are allowed on all routes (except children's routes). The children's area is open to children over 115 cm tall. All trails are briefed by the centre's instructors.
Next to the park there is a lake, a children's playground and a beach.
