Although skiing is the main activity at ski resorts, a good après-ski is also very important. If you don't want to freeze on the slopes on a particularly cold day, you can have fun in a water park. Water fun is also great in the summer, when many families with children come to the Alps. If you're in Schladming with children, visit the Erlebnisbad & Fitness-Studio. It is open all year round and offers active and fun activities.
During the colder seasons, the main venue is the 380 square metre indoor pool. It is divided into three areas. One is for relaxation and entertainment. There is a 66-metre long water slide, a children's slide, a small lazy river, a cascade shower, waterfalls and whirlpool benches. The other is for sports: the pool has three 25-metre lanes for swimmers. There are also aqua gym classes twice a week.
There is a separate area for the little ones, where the water is especially warm at 33°C. As the water park also welcomes the little ones, there is a changing table next to the pool.
The sauna area is also worthy of special mention, with a wide range of relaxation areas. You can relax in the panoramic, Finnish, herbal, bio and infrared saunas. The sauna is not included in the price of the pools and is an extra cost. You can buy a ticket for the whole day or just a few hours.
The outdoor pool is preferred by most holidaymakers in the summer. There is a wide slide for children and a 46-metre slope. While parents sunbathe on the sun loungers, the children can enjoy the playground, sandbox and trampolines. A game of beach volleyball or table tennis is also a good family option.
The pool and gym also has a solarium and massage room. In the gym you can do your usual exercise routine or get advice on exercise and diet.
