Excursions in Düsseldorf are not limited to the city. Germany's public transport system is well developed, so it's easy to take the high-speed tram to Neuss, a suburb of Düsseldorf with plenty to do for both adults and children. For those of you travelling with young children, we recommend Bero's Kinderwelt in Neuss. The playground is indoors so you can have fun and relax even on a bad weather day.
The playground is quite large, covering 3,000 square metres. There are all kinds of merry-go-rounds for children, similar to an indoor amusement park. Bero's Children's World is all about trampolines and bouncy castles, where young visitors can let off steam in complete safety. There are a variety of inflatable trampolines, slides, an inflatable dragon with a mouth to play in, an inflatable ship, a giant clown — all these attractions will keep children from bumping into each other or cutting themselves, but they will have a great time.
Alpenpark Neuss is located just 7 km from the amusement park. Take a look there too.
Bero's Children's World also has a large area dedicated to ladders, hammocks, walkways, tunnels, tubes, horizontal bars and slides, all of which form a single structure for the younger guests to explore. For the little ones, there is a pool with balls to slide into from a small height. There are also various houses and other fairytale plastic figures for the little ones to play with.
Older children will enjoy the driving range, where they can race cars. You'll also find four-wheeled vehicles that can be ridden all over the play centre, not just on the fenced off area. Children's arcade fans won't be bored either. You and your child can play table football, table tennis or air hockey. Children can also ride an electric horse or car. Please note that you will need to change your shoes on site.
Leave necklaces and other children's jewellery at home as they may get caught or lost during play. Also, children are only allowed in the amusement centre with adults who are responsible for their own children.
It is forbidden to bring your own drinks or food into Bero's Children's World. If you get hungry after playing, there is a cafeteria in the centre. Here you can buy everything you need and have lunch. There are also vending machines, such as lollipop machines with different fruit flavours. For safety reasons, lollipops and chewing gum are not allowed in Bero's Children's World. You can also celebrate children's birthdays at the centre. It's convenient, inexpensive and fun. They offer a children's party service with the option of renting the whole centre or a separate themed room.
