The office of the Oberstdorf Alpine Ski School is located opposite the train station. Here you can get all the information you need about lessons and ski hire. The rental shop is located at the bottom station of the Söllereck gondola and offers lessons for children in the specially equipped Kid's Funpark & Ski Area.
The school is run by Herbert and Florian Enders, members of the German Ski Instructors Association. They do everything possible to ensure that the school achieves the highest ratings and they keep abreast of and apply the latest technology in skiing.
The children's ski school, which accepts children from the age of four, deserves special praise. It's a great place to teach children the basics of skiing and snowboarding. Interactive lessons take place in a special area equipped with a 'magic carpet', a small cable car and a transporter. Sölli, the school's mascot, is sure to visit the students during their lessons and keep them entertained with fun games and activities.
Hohenschwangau and Neuschwanstein Castles are located 78 km away. Be sure to plan a family trip there.
The first meeting and appointment takes place at 9:00 am in the main office or at 9:30 am just outside the children's area next to the lift. Courses start daily, so you can join any day. Special three and five day packages are available, including tuition and equipment hire. Shuttle service to the lift is also included.
