The phrase 'urban jungle' usually has a negative connotation. But they decided to rethink it in Barcelona by creating the Bosc Urba rope park. It translates as 'forest in the city', only concrete posts are placed there instead of the usual trees, and the roof protects the park from the weather. That's why Bosc Urba is also open on rainy days. Once the kids get bored in the museums, help them cheer up by mixing up their Barcelona excursions with some outdoor activities and letting them test their courage and dexterity on the ropes and planks courses.
The ropeway park has three trails of varying difficulty levels. The orange route is within the power of even some three-year-old children. At the same time, it cannot be called very simple — the course passes at a height of 1.5 meters above the ground. Children have to overcome 14 obstacles, and the most important thing here is coping with their fear.
All park visitors are provided with safety harnesses to prevent them from falling. Who does your child think they are as they make their way through the mesh walls? Maybe Spider-Man, a young sailor scrambling up the masts.
The blue track is 4 metres above the ground. You must be at least eight years old and 1.35 metres tall to ride it. There are 19 stations on this route, and the park's slogan becomes more straightforward: "For those who love strong emotions". When there is a rickety bridge ahead, and the ground is somewhere far below, you can't help but feel anxious. But remember the instructor's instructions, and you're sure to be jubilant at the finish line.
The most challenging route in the Barcelona Rope Park is red; it is laid at a height of 6 m above the ground. Children under 12 and under 1.45 m tall are not allowed. On this route, you will need strong nerves: each of the 20 obstacles of the course will make really scared.
