In the mountains of the province of Alicante is the Aitana Safari Park, where animals live in the wild, and people can watch them from a close distance.
The park contains animals from all over the world. Here you can see a lynx and a llama, a goose and a marabou stork, an ordinary pig and a capybara, a deer and an exotic bull Watussi, a giraffe and an elephant. All the animals have a habitat close to their own, so they feel completely at ease. On the territory of 1.5 million sq. m, there are forests, rocks, savannah areas, reservoirs — and life is in full swing everywhere.
A relatively large area of the park is divided into two parts. One can only be reached by car — it will be a route about 7 km long, during which you will visit large animals. Children are delighted to watch a hippopotamus swimming in the lake, a tiger basking in the sun after dinner, antelopes, zebras and camels grazing together.

But not all animals need to hide. Part of the park is reserved for hiking, where you can get acquainted with small curious animals - squirrels, raccoons, chinchillas, and parrots. There are also larger animals with a friendly disposition: goats, donkeys, and ponies. It is allowed to take pictures with them, especially the brave ones who can choose not a pony or a parrot for a photo but a snake.
