Zoos often become a place for family visits. But over time, simply staring at animals gets boring. Therefore, zoological gardens are developing a whole range of entertainment for visitors. The creators of the zoo "Terra Natura" in Benidorm went along this path. Here you can not only admire the representatives of the fauna but also watch shows with the participation of animal artists, fly on a bungee and get several other pleasures.
Usually, parents try to show their children animals that cannot be found on the street, in the park or in the village. The philosophy of Terra Natura is not to fence off from nature but to interact with it. Therefore, there are no noticeable fences and enclosures; animals walk freely. At the same time, all measures have been taken to ensure the safety of zoo guests.
The park's territory is divided into several parts: America, Europe, Asia, and Pangea — animals of 200 species settled here, including 50 endangered species. In the shade of trees, you can walk next to an elephant or a giraffe, take a buffalo to a watering place, envy the dexterous monkeys, take a picture with an armadillo, or ride a donkey.
The flight of birds of prey has been turned into a real show here. For those who dream of flying, a 400 m long bungee has been created in the park — from a height, all the animals are perfectly visible at once. The most poisonous organisms are collected in Pangea: reptiles, spiders, mushrooms, plants, and minerals. Here you can find out how antidotes are developed. And the landscape of Pangea is decorated with a volcano and giant figures of insects.
The Aqua Natura water park occupies part of the Terra Natura territory in Benidorm. It has four water slides, including the unique attraction La Cresta, a children's pool with a playground and small slides, a wave pool, a relaxation area and a picturesque lighthouse.
Note that family entertainment in Benidorm does not end there. The Terra Mitica theme park is located next to the zoo. It will take at least one day to visit all its attractions.
