Aquavera Aquapark

Aquavera Aquapark

Spain, Vera

The resort region of Costa de Almeria is just building its system of tourist attractions. But there are already enough water parks, essential for sun-weary vacationers. If you are on holiday in Mojacar with a child, Aquavera water park, located next to Playas de Vera, will provide you with a fun pastime.

The main feature of the water park is the abundance of blue: the water in the pool turns blue, and almost all the slides and the information centre building. The only exceptions are the black tunnels Black Holes, and colorful children's slides. But this is only apparent uniformity. The water park "Vera" has three pools and five different slopes.

The children's area is a shallow pool with a playground and small slides. The figures of animals enliven the atmosphere and inspire new games. For example, a penguin nestled next to one of the slides, a good-natured hippopotamus stuck its head out of the water, and seals lay down to rest in shallow water.

Other pools are called "Lake" and "Sea". In the first one, the water is calm; this is the best place for a relaxed holiday. In the second one, artificial waves rise from time to time. Among the slides, some are suitable for the whole family. It is primarily Multipistas — 4 slides for speed competitions. No need to argue about who can accelerate better — overtake everyone!

The curves of the Río Aventura can be travelled by two on special double toboggans. If the river has submitted unquestioningly, two similar hills are nearby but with many sharp turns.

The more adventurous will find it fun to slide down one of the two Black Holes or the steeply sloping Kamikaze. If you have yet to spend all your energy on the slides, you can continue the fun on the mini-golf course. The park has a fast-food cafe and a self-service kiosk. There is also a picnic area. Like many other water parks on the Costa Almeria, at Parque Acuático Vera, sun loungers are available at an additional cost.
