Karting in Garrucha appeared in 1987. In 2004, the track and equipment were updated to meet modern requirements. There are now two tracks in operation. One is 160 metres long with a simple layout and is intended for beginner riders. The second one is 400 m long and 8 m wide — experienced competitors are allowed on it. There are 60 karts available for the heats.
Do you need any skills to drive a kart? No — training takes place right on the spot. Even a 5-year-old child can get behind the wheel of a squat car. Children's karts are designed especially for young drivers. If your kid has the racing experience and he/she is 10-12 years old, they will get a smaller kart with a lower speed. You can also buy powerful F-200 and F-300 karts for adults. Finally, a family kart is available where an adult and a child are treated as full-fledged pilots. All race participants are provided with helmets.
Karting Garrucha also takes care of the organization of rest after the races. On its territory, there is a hall with board games, trampolines for children, and a cafe.
