Who knows what to do on the beach for a child who has already outgrown sand play? The best family resorts in Spain do not confuse parents over this issue but offer their holiday program. For example, not far from Marbella is the Funny Beach, where in addition to the traditional "bananas" and jet skis, you can try a dozen more newfangled entertainment.
The Funny Hill amusement park has more than 23,000 square meters of land. There you can find a Marbella karting track of 300 meters of route, a ship of 500 square meters and capacity of 300 people dedicated to the restoration and events, many activities for children and the first VR Park of the Costa del Sol.
Most Funny Hill water attractions in Marbella are designed for teenagers and adults. No special skills are needed to soar on a parasail or ride through the water on an inflatable sofa floating behind a boat. But the entertainment called "Flying Fish" can be compared with the attraction "Rodeo", but instead of a bull, a stubborn inflatable boat will try to throw you off. For those who consider themselves extreme, we recommend wakeboarding, flyboarding and hoverboarding. Glide through the water or the air — your choice.
To entertain younger children, take them on a catamaran ride or offer to learn how to paddle surf or stand-up paddleboard. Even when completely calm, a paddle surfer can navigate the sea by standing on the board and paddling. The child will learn to keep balance; this will be a reasonable basis for learning to windsurf.
The Funny Hill Park in Spain is also famous for its karting track, where the kids can have fun. The karting center even has racing karts for the youngest visitors. They do not reach speeds of more than 30 km/h. The minimum age for a child to take the wheel is 6 years. Toddlers ride with a parent on a tandem kart (the minimum age, in this case, is 3 years). A 12-year-old child may drive an adult kart with parental consent. Children must be at least 16 years old to participate in the races.
During the colder seasons, the Funny Hill activity centre reduces the number of water activities, but the go-kart track and small restaurants on the beach stay open.
