Warner Madrid Park

Warner Madrid Park

Spain, Madrid

Warner Brothers cartoons have been popular among many generations. Would your child refuse to shake hands with brave Jerry, the mouse or feel like a superhero equal to Batman? You will meet these characters at Warner Brothers Park near Madrid. As well as meeting cartoon characters, there are rides, shows, and fun at the Warner Brothers Beach water park. It's the kind of family holiday you'll remember in Spain.

A little statistic: Warner Brothers Park in Madrid has five themed areas, 38 rides, 13 great shows, a water park with three water playgrounds for children, dozens of atmospheric shops and restaurants, and lots of little surprises waiting at every turn. Check out the park map and show schedule to decide where to run first — wild rollercoaster rides or superhero encounters.

The first themed area of Warner Bros. Park Madrid is Hollywood Boulevard. There is a daily parade of cartoon stars, from Bugs Bunny to the Flintstones. You can rewatch your favourite cartoons in the 3D cinema.

To visit the lovable characters, head to the Cartoon Village. Here you'll find Bugs Bunny's den, Daffy Duck's home and Tweety the Canary's grandmother's house. Cartoon Village has some of the best pre-schooler rides, including the Tom and Jerry mini roller coaster.

You can glimpse the kitchen of film production in the Movie World Studios-themed area. Stunts and special effects are what you'll see in Police Academy or Haunted Hotel. The Scooby-Doo action will make you feel good. The most noticeable attraction here is the Stunt Fall roller coaster. It is 65 m high, and flies at a speed of 115 km per hour. Families with young children will prefer the water cannon shootout in the company of Yogi and Boo Boo bears.

Superhero World is another themed area. It features the most extreme rides and the most spectacular shows. Watch Batman go around Gotham City in his Batmobile or fly like Superman on a red, blue and yellow rollercoaster.

The Wild West in central Spain is the Wild West Territory. You can only squeal in the Coaster Express as you make your way down the bumpy 1,250m long road, or get soaked to the skin on the descent down the Rio Bravo. But what fun it is to sit down and have a cowboy's meal in the saloon!

On a hot day, you'll enjoy a swim in the water park pools. Children are the most welcome guests here. They have three stunning water areas with lots of slides and splashing paddles at their disposal. There are no high slides in the water park but rather the Rio Loco, which you can navigate upstream or try to swim against the current. For parents with babies, the park has a feeding and baby-changing area. You can warm up baby food in any restaurant.

If you don't have time to go to Warner Bros. park, Madrid's amusement park at Casa de Campo is just as much fun for the whole family.
