If you're in Madrid for a day or two with your child, you'll probably spend some time exploring the essential sights. But sometimes a long vacation is planned — then it is helpful to know where you can have fun and actively relax with the whole family. A wide range of entertainment offers a shopping centre Xanadu, Madrid. Here you will find a bowling alley, an aquarium, a 3D cinema and snow tracks. For children, there is a kids club and game workshops.
Madrid SnoZone deserves special attention — the only indoor ski slope in Spain. It works year-round, and if you can't wait for winter, you will always find snowy slopes in Xanadu. The snow zone of the mall has an area of 18 thousand square meters. There are 250 m and 100 m long tracks for experienced and beginner skiers, a zone for snowboarders, a slide for riding on inflatable snow tubes, and a children's playground. As usual, skiers are delivered to the start point of the track by a lift, but you can also go down on a bungee. You can rent equipment and get skiing lessons on site.
Alternative places of recreation in the Madrid Xanadu shopping centre are a 14-lane bowling alley and an 18-hole mini-golf course in arctic scenery. All these entertainments are indoors. Therefore they are available in any weather. And you also have the opportunity to visit the Atlantis Aquarium, which will introduce your kids to the rich underwater world of the seas and oceans.
The Peque World playground is open from Friday to Sunday. There are separate play areas for children aged 1-4 years and 5-12 years. Periodically, Madrid Xanadu offers children creative activities, games and puppet shows. See the mall's website for a schedule of such events.
The Imaginarium toy shop is another place for children. Its characteristic feature is a special small entrance for young visitors. The chain also has a shop in Barcelona.
For parents with babies, there are feeding rooms and changing tables. Restaurants offer high chairs for toddlers. Note that the choice of catering in Xanadu is wide.
