Isla Magica Sevilla Adventure Park

Isla Magica Sevilla Adventure Park

Spain, Seville

Christopher Columbus's expedition to India, which ended up in the Americas, has become a historical anecdote. Isn't that why Isla Magica, a vast amusement park, has created the Indian Port and Gateway to America amusement areas? This is where you can party till you drop and at the same time learn a lot about the history of Spain. It's worth leaving the family-friendly resorts of the Costa del Sol for a day out and heading to Seville, where this centre of fun is located.

Isla Magica Sevilla is divided into 7 entertainment zones. The Gateway of the Americas, Seville, Puerto de Indias, Amazonia, Eldorado and Pirates' Den are a paradise for adventurers and lovers of mystery. You simply have to wander the streets of ancient Seville, man the watchtower of an ancient fort, hunt a jaguar in the rainforest, search for the treasure of the Golden City, fly on the back of a falcon and climb aboard a pirate galleon.

Each area has several rides and playgrounds, themed cafés and souvenir shops. Note that the playgrounds are not only a complex of slides and ladders. There's a fun fountain area, a radio-controlled boat pond, a pirate shooting gallery and more.

Another fun zone is called 'The Source of Youth'. Here, you'll find the best children's attractions, games and shows for the park's younger guests.

Colourful shows also occur in other parts of the Magic Island amusement park. Check their schedules so you don't miss out on the illusionists, ridiculous plays based on children's fairy tales, equestrian theatre, flamenco shows or a pirate fight.

Another popular attraction in the summer heat is the Agua Magica water park. There are 7 slides with the frightening names "Vortex", "Tsunami", "Black Hole", and "Freefall" for teenagers and adults. For children, there is a playground with lots of water fun. A swimming pool with artificial waves replaces the real sea, and a real beach — a sandy beach. A slow, Guadalquivir-like 'Lazy River' runs through the water park.

If you're going to Magic Island Park in Seville with your little ones, you can rent a stroller from the park. There is also a feeding and changing area for parents with babies. There are several drinking water fountains in the amusement park. However, bringing at least a bottle of water with you is advisable.
