The Cannon Music Camp, hosted by the Hayes School of Music at Appalachian State University, is a three-week immersive program designed for serious young musicians. Eligibility: Open to rising 9th graders through graduating high school seniors (ages 14–18).
Cost: $2,950 (includes tuition, housing, meals, classes, ensembles, and activities). Optional electives range from $75–$150 per activity.
Applications open December 1 each year and close the day before camp begins. No audition is required for general admission; however, scholarship applicants must submit an audition video.
