Accommodation and Meals

Dining

Campers enjoy hearty, delicious meals in our cozy, lodge-style dining hall, where friendly staff make everyone feel like part of the camp family. The beautiful 80-acre campus sits at the edge of a mountain meadow, surrounded by pine, oak, and manzanita trees. Our modern facilities and science labs feature state-of-the-art equipment, providing exciting opportunities to explore the physical and earth sciences as well as the wonders of the natural world.

If you have any special dietary restrictions, please provide information in your camper registration so that we can make special accommodations.

Dorms

Campers stay in comfortable dorm-style cabins, each equipped with four to six bunk beds and mattresses. Guests should bring their own bedding— a sleeping bag and pillow are recommended for the best experience.

Each dorm is equipped with multiple sinks, toilets, and showers to ensure campers have everything they need for daily comfort and hygiene. In addition, every dorm includes private chaperone bathrooms—complete with a toilet, sink, and shower—that are gender-neutral and available for students to use as needed.

Health & Safety

Safety is our top priority. All activities are led by skilled instructors trained in their specific program areas, ensuring both learning and fun happen in a safe environment. Every participant is required to follow safety guidelines and use the proper equipment for each activity. Our staff members are certified in CPR/AED for the Professional Rescuer, First Aid, and Emergency Oxygen Administration, and Lifeguards supervise all aquatic programs. Two-way radios keep instructors in constant contact with camp directors and the main office.

In the event of illness or emergency, our team follows established EMS protocols. A local pharmacy and clinic are located nearby in Idyllwild, and emergency medical services typically reach camp within 6–10 minutes. Paramedics can provide care on-site and arrange transport to the nearest clinic or hospital if needed, ensuring every camper’s well-being is always protected.
